A of M 20.

The colonel saw the window of his office a mess. A paper in the hands of radio messages. The Americans are coming. He goes out. He wants to know what's going on in the camp. 


The colonel of the ammunition depot located on the ground sees Isabella and Schterliz. -What happened here? asks the colonel. And  he is sees  wife's body. -Escape, the Americans had escaped! And she helped them! Traitor was your wife! Schterliz says.


-Listen! Shut your mouth! shouts the Colonel. - They wanted to flee!  I had to shoot ! Schterliz says. -Enough, already, hear! shouts the Colonel. Pulls out his gun. But Schterliz not shut up, but says that Isabella was a traitor. The Colonel shoots Schterliz, almost all the ammo it shoots.


- End, all this is over. They are coming, the Americans will be here anon, to murder, and they will be here. says the Colonel. Will hold a gun to their head, and the last bullet of his own head shot. Falls to the ground with his own dead wife. Müller goes to the office, looking for secret track on the radio  and sends a message .


Tony goes through a forest. Coming towards him, at least 15 truck, neatly in a row. -Now what? asks Nick. -Stop. Tony says. Stop the trucks to slow down and stop them as well. Americans.  -Do not shoot, we're Americans! Tony shouts.- Now, not far from the escaped prisoner of war camp. says Nick. Get out of the vehicle.


-My name is Colonel Howard King. You are the Americans who had escaped in Erlangen? asks the colonel. - Yes sir, we are. My name is Tony Kassai, he's Nick Owen. And with us, there are two peers. Joe and Stephen is also down about the car.- Hurry, be necessary to prevent a bloodbath. The Germans killed everyone. says Stephen. -I know, there's a guy in the camp.We have a spy. We go. Liberators everyone! answered the colonel. The boys are now safe. One team will take them to the American base.


The Americans almost without resistance, marched into the camp. The Germans surrendered. Colonel Kromberg and Schterliz is dead.  Müller British spy. He sent reports to camp. London  born, half Spanish, half German family. Himself came to the task. Isabella was also a spy. Isabella's task was much older that she married a colonel. The wedding was not official, but pretended that she was close to the German officers, and she knows every German plans.


Müller and Tony Isabella's body transported back to London, her parents are buried next to her. Military honors are a farewell to the girl. There are also three Americans. It's raining as if the heavens weep Isabella. After the funeral, the Americans are going to the airport.


Joe, Nick and Stephen are on an airplane. The war was over, go home . Stephen which looks at photos of Isabella . An elderly woman sits beside his.  Look at the picture. - Nice girl, she is the girlfriend? asks the woman. -Beautiful, like an angel, the angel of mercy. I owe her my life. says Stephen.

A of M 19.

Schterliz targeted. Isabella saw it in front of Stephen. The body of defending her love. Three shots are heard. Isabella received three bullets in her back. She stops, turns around Stephen. She looks at him scared, then falls to the ground. Stephen, you will receive. Schterliz confused, throw  the gun. Not the Colonel's wife wanted to shoot.


-Isabella! Stephen says . Embraces her, Stephen's hand was bloody. -Isabella! Isabella ! Doctor, call a doctor! Isabella! Hold on! Stephen says. The girl lying on the ground. Stephen knelt beside her,  in his arms  her body . The  prisoners kick starts the Schterliz.


Her face was growing paler, can barely hear what she says. - i.. lo...ve...you...- Hang in ! Where is the doctor! Help someone help me. Stephen faltering voice bellow. Her eyes were glassy look . Gone out of it for life. -No, no, it's not possible, Isabella, no, no, no! . Do not leave me! You can not die, can not miss it, I love you, Isabella. Do not leave me please. Stephen's voice choked in his throat choking his crying.


Tears in his eyes, rolled down his cheeks and fall on her pretty pale face. Joe leap off the truck. -Stephen, we gotta go. says and Joe  put hand in his shoulder.- No, I do not leave here her , I can not go without it! says a quiet voice, Stephen. -She's dead, it can not help you. But so yourself! We gotta go! says Joe. -No! You go, I'll stay. says Stephen.


- She gave her life for you, you owe her so much to go from here! You have to go, otherwise it becomes a meaningless death. says Joe. -I love her. Without it, nothing in my life! Stephen answered.- I know you love her, she loved you. So much so that she gave her life for you! Come and fulfill the last wish. she wanted to live! Do not do pointless death. Let's go! Joe says


Joe takes off his coat, Stephen tenderly kisses her and then lay on the ground, wrap the coat covering her face. Boarded the truck and hide in between the boxes. Stephen buries his face in his hands. Terribly hurt the soul.


Tony presses the accelerator pedal. The prisoners revolted, in great turmoil. Tony does not stop at the control gate, drive straight to it. And go through everything.

A of M 18.

Now is the time to escape. Arriving at the truck of ammunition. Joe, Tony, Stephen and Nick are just waiting for an opportunity. The empty boxes are subsequently loaded the truck. Stephen and Joe smote on the two German soldiers. Tony and Nick wear the German soldiers' clothes. The soldiers bound  leaving  in the warehouse.


Tony speaks German very well,  they will not be a problem. Schterliz feeling to something. He decides to go to the warehouse, you want to check in and out of loading and unloading. Isabella will be feeling bad.


She removes her neck the gold chain on which hangs a pendant. The pendant can be opened, with her photograph in it. -This chain always brought me luck, I would give you. Stephen's hands and a chain.- Come on, there will be no problem. says Stephen. -Take away. She says .- All right, but if we in America, you can get me a gift! Stephen said, smiling. -A gift? What is it? she asks. -We'll see. says Stephen.


The time has come. Joe off the back of the truck, Isabelle and Stephen also wants to follow, but a voice from behind them. -Halt! he is  Schterliz . Pistol in his hand coming toward them. Isabella gently pulls a pistol from her coat pocket . Schterliz moving finger on the trigger. Isabella shoot. Schterlizet shoulders find drop out the gun from his hand.


-We gotta go, come on! Joe says and get on the truck.- Come on, Stephen . says Joe. Schterliz picks up the gun. Aim and shoot. 


The prisoners also had heard the shoots, rebel, someone begins to set fire to the tents, the bondage was enough! They are to disarm the guards. Big trouble in and the rumpus.

A of M 17

Stephen just constantly thinking how to escape, and Isabella also want to take with you. Isabella is fine. It is evening. A man walking in a dark corridor. It is the colonel's office before. The colonel was talking to someone over the radio. Bad news gets. In France, the Americans landed. The Russians were approaching from the east. This war will end soon. The camp should be abolished, all prisoners must be killed. The command must be carried out within a week.


A dark figure crept out of the main building. Straight toward the tents. He enters. He kneels beside a bed. Stephen is sleeping peacefully in bed. Someone gently touched his face. Stephen looks up. She is Isabella .


-Isabella, what are you doing here? he asks . -You have a problem. she says quietly. -What happened? He blows still?  I swear I'm going to ... Isabella did not finish because of interrupted cuts. -The Americans landed in Normandy, and the Russians were approaching. Heinrich was ordered to remove all five days of the camp and kill all the prisoners, and he will leave the country. replied the girl.


-What? asks Stephen. -Everyone will be out done by Heinrich wants to escape. -Everyone has to kill? Stephen asks incredulously. -Yes, I must escape! Isabella answered. - Good, but how? says Stephen. -Tomorrow afternoon, a truck comes to delivery of ammunition. We're going to get the truck and hid among the empty boxes, and you will get out of here. replied the girl.


-And you? says Stephen. - Am I? I can not go. replied the girl. -Why not? says Stephen. -Heinrich, will organize a blood bath, I want to be prevented. answered the girl. -You? You can not do nothing! You would not expect it, your life is worth nothing. Do you remember ? I will not leave here! You have to come with me, or I'm not going anywhere! says Stephen. -We'll see. replied the girl.
Isabella kiss to Stephen. - Good night. she says. Will Stephen's coat and leaves. The room dissolves the lining of the jacket, and sews it to the jewelry. Cash can not give, but the jewelry  give Stephen. Stephen give the men who they are take over to the French border.

A of M 16.

Morning. Stephen prostrate on her bed asleep. He opens his eyes, look around, there is already clear.  -Hell .  I fell asleep. he says softly.He  looks at her, touched her face. No fever. Kisses her tenderly. Then gently leave of the room. The kitchen is headed for.


Stephen would like to quietly get out of the kitchen door. Hold the handle down, exiting. Looks up, someone in front of his. The Colonel, a moment, staring face each other. -What's that doing here? says the colonel. Müller behind the Colonel. -I'm sure food is brought. He is one who has  the inventory replenishment of food. says Müller. -Good, get out! replied the Colonel.


Stephen glances at the table. Boiled of emotion in it. There is a great bread slicing knife, he turned his mind to grab and cut into a filthy worm. But the victory of common sense and do nothing. Müller probably  shoots Stephen.


The Colonel and Müller come through the door, while Stephen goes back to the tent. Joe is waiting. -Where have you been? Joe says.- to Isabella. says Stephen. -How is she? asks Nick. - Not too good. The Colonel is very beat up poor girl! Stephen replied angrily. -I hope I did not notice! says Joe. -I met with the worm! I stood face to face with him. For a moment, turned my head to kill him. The throat jumper, and I'll cut! Stephen says heatedly. -You 're not already done so? asks Nick.- No, because  there was also Müller. But if he had not been there, I  kill  the colonel. says Stephen. Stephen started the garden. He goes to work. Joe followed.

A of M 15.

The colonel had come home, and very drunk. Isabella wants to help him to come in to the Colonel's room. -Wait, I help. she says. She opens the bedroom door. -Get away, get along without you. I do not need your help! says the Colonel.


The colonel change his mind. He does not want to go into the bedroom but to the office. The prisoners are some of the yard. The lights burn in the office. The curtain is retracted. Joe and Stephen are sitting in front of the tent. They take notice,  in the office is moving.  See that two people are rough with each other. Stephen stood up to go closer.


The colonel himself pushes the girl. No, you have already told you a hundred times not to interfere in my job. I drink as much as you want! the colonel says angrily. The Colonel beats  the Isabella. She falls to the ground. Stephen sees this. - Filthy animal! Hit! Therefore, it pays! and starts toward the main building. Joe and Nick did not allow it. -Let me go! I go there, try to hit me, not a fragile woman! Let me now! Stephen says angrily.


The colonel is not satisfied with a few strokes .- Then I'll teach you not to move to my job! Eject their belts and hitting on the girl lying on the ground. Stephen  want to go into the building to come to the aid of the girl. -Let me go, I gotta go there! He Will kill her. I can not see ,he fail to hurt her. I love her! I kill the villain! says Stephen. The others are not allowed. Tony  come and help, three of them barely able to  Stephen.


Come Müller and stops the  raving Colonel .- Sir, there is enough, stop. That's enough already. Learned the lesson. Müller says the colonel, and led out the door. -I just got what you deserved! said the colonel. The colonel goes out of his room. Isabella lying unconscious on the floor  Müller kneel down beside her. Look at her pulse, she's still alive. Müller takes the unconscious girl in his arms , enters the bedroom and lays her on the bed. Then go out and called the doctor.


The doctor examines her. Fortunately not broken nothing. Stephen can not stay still. he sneaks in the window there, and knocking. The doc goes there, open. -How is she? What did he does with the beast? he asks his voice anxious. -Beat, but fortunately not broken nothing, and there is no serious injury.  


Stephen climbing through the window. -I have to go if you promise not to do anything stupid, you can stay here. says the doc. -I promise I'm not doing anything, I'm sitting in the bedside, and not doing anything. I can not seek the madman. Stephen replied .- All right! But hold on to yourself! says the doc. Stephen sits down beside her bed. A damp cloth and wiping her face. Terribly concerned about her.

A of M 14.

In the tent is already waiting for his friend Joe .- I have seen what it done to. You're completely crazy? You're in love with the Colonel's wife? Are you crazy? You know what would happen if someone finds out? Joe asked anxiously. 


-No, and  I do not care! I love her and she loves me! I never thought that in such circumstances, I will find my dreams woman! But it was, and if you've found it, never, under any circumstances will not let go! No matter what happens! Stephen reply - You are a crazy! says Joe. -The love fool! Stephen answered.


- I say to you crazy! She is married, the husband of a beast, the enemy of her husband,  I'm saying, if you know this is crazy,  colonel kills you, kills her, and kills me, he is kills everybody! Joe says.-He will not figure it out, because it  we run away! Stephen says .-What? querying look at his friend Joe - We gonna run away! She come with me, she did not think , still ! Stephen answered. - I say, a fool! says Joe. -I will take it from here. I do not know yet how, but I'm taking with me to America. says Stephen.


-Of course, the Colonel just sits and watches as you have lived happily until your died. says Joe. -He will not hurt us! In America he will not hurt us ! says Stephen. -Of course. Joe says. -You'll see that we will be happy, and then you can be the godfather of our children. Stephen said, smiling.- Although, it would be. says Joe.

A of M 13.

Towards evening, a black car turns in front of the main building again. The Colonel goes into the city, and also carries Schterliz. Müller does not go . He does not like noisy parties with. Isabella in the kitchen washing dishes. Someone is knocking. Opens the door, there she glance. Stephen. -What are you doing here? Is something wrong? Startled, she asks. -There is nothing wrong. I saw that the Colonel was gone, I want to show something, come with me. Stephen offers his hand to her.


She wipes her hands on a tea towel .- What?  says girl -Come,  Stephen says, and they go to the garden. -Look. Stephen says, he shows up at the sky. The sky was clear, the stars shine beautifully. Like if someone has a delicate, velvet dress, was full of scattered tiny, shiny diamonds. -When you were watching them last? asks Stephen. -Even when I was a little girl. replied the girl. -As beautiful as you are. The girl's shoulder disperses his coat. Look at each other's eyes for a moment, then kisses her.


No, not . she whispers. I know, but I did not know this or against .You are  beautiful in the starlight. he says softly. Kiss her again, but she does not let slow in coming. Oh elsewhere, at other times have been met. replied the girl. -No, nothing was lost. This war will end soon. Stephen to accompany her to the kitchen door. After a quick kiss the girl go. Stephen starts back in the tent.

A of M 12.

Isabella wakes with shooting. She goes to the window, dragging the curtain. The Schterliz. Someone in the night crept into the warehouse. And the stolen in warehouse. In the morning the guards had been overlooked when it went to Tony and Stephen. The guards checked everything and discovered the flaw. Bread, canned fish, fruits and dry sausage is missing from the set.


Schterliz wants to know who was the thief. First, just shot into the air. Then you start to shoot one of the closest prisoners. Stephen and Nick stretch from the entrance of the tent, lest they hit.
Schterliz promises a reward to who knows something about the theft. Produced by a boy. Polish-born, but he speaks the German language. He says that, two Polish prisoners who had been stolen. The two Poles will be returned to the interrogators. Everybody knows what's going on. They no longer come out alive.


First, just wail is heard. And then silence. Finally shots were fired. The two boys were thrown out of the building before the corpse. Schterliz comes out. he calls to Tony. - You translate! It says it does so all a thief! Anyone who dares to steal from us, we kill it all! Schterliz says. Isabell clothes and then go out in front of the building. Isabella callsTony. -What was it before? asks a girl - Two boys stole the food store. Schterliz wanted to make an example. Tony replied .- And how is that Russian guy? she asks. -Thank goodness it better. Seems to survive. Tony answered. -I am happy for him, if anything I can help, just let me know. she says. Then go into the building.


Stephen is in the garden. This summer, beautiful flowers bloom. Taking a bouquet and then enter the kitchen. Müller happens to be there. Sitting at the table. He is having breakfast. Stephen camp and then enter the door.  - Frau Kromberg, I brought her. he says while showing the beautiful flowers. Müller nods. It is in the closet in a vase of water into it and then you insert your flowers. The vase on the table leaves. -Frau  Kromberg. Müller says. -Yes, I brought to her. Now I gotta go. Stephen says, and goes out into the garden. 


Joe penalty expired. He  released in the dark cell. Stephen welcomes. Nick bring him to eat. Half day or a bite to eat, drink and has not received. Then go to bed a bit on the camp bed. He is not to sleep on the floor.

A of M 11.

Someone is watching her from one window. The girl went into the kitchen from the building. Opens the door and enters the colonel. What are you doing here so late? asks the colonel. -I could not sleep, just a little warm tea for myself. You want some? she asks. -No. answered the colonel grimly. He goes  into the enclosure, removes from the shelf a bottle of wine, brings out and opens. 


-You should not drink wine. Isabella says. She want to catch the Colonel's hand. But the Colonel does not allow. Driving up the glass of wine. And then grabs her and pushes against the wall. -Do not speak into my job Isabella! yell at her. -I just want to do good to you, please do not drink! she asks. But the Colonel does not listen to her. Recharge itself. She goes there, but the damage was. The colonel hit, she fell  the stone kitchen, -Get out of my way! yell at her. The Colonel will be a bottle of wine, a cup, and leaves.


She sits on the floor. Someone comes in, before it stops and offers her hand. Isabella looks up to Müller. Are you all right? Müller worried voice asked. Yes, thank you. Always like that when they drink alcohol. I go to bed. Good night. she says. -Good night. Müller says.


During the night someone in the office again to send a message on the radio. 


Stephen finds Tony in the early morning. -Have a small job for you. says the man .- What would it be? asks Stephen. - I need someone who can help me to enter some of the main building, kitchen box. says Tony. -I can help you. Let's go. says Stephen. They  go to the warehouse. Tony gives out a paper in the guards. Permission to enter and carry them the necessary food.


Tony pulls out another paper. A list of what foods are needed. Then points out the crates. -This, this is it. And to be potatoes, coffee, tea, sugar, apples, and vegetables. Now we take them. says Tony. Behordanak then everything in the kitchen. By the time they wake up in the German officers, is charged in the food .

A of M 10.

The next day new prisoners arrive at the freight car. Three Russian soldiers were given away.The Germans really hate the Russians. More than they hate the Americans . Really beat them, but there is no end to their suffering. They pulled the truck and then moved straight to the  Schterliz's office . Tony is assigned to the office. Speaks 6 languages, including Russian.


Schterliz various questions put to them, but these people are mere soldiers, they can not answer such questions, where they are stationed in the Russian Second Army Corps. What is the exact time of attack. Do not know anything. Schterliz want to scare the three boys. Kneeling in the middle of shooting from behind the head.


The boy falls like a sack of potatoes. But the other two did not know what to say so. Schterliz this shoot the other. The third did not provide new information, and he was so tired Schterliz shoots well from behind. -Bury them. says Schterliz  Enter the command and sergeant in the leaves. The corpses of German soldiers pulled up in front of the building. Then bury them prisoners.


Tony arranges. Looking for people at the funeral. But the most amazing, one of the Russian boy did not die. Immediately brought into the tent and had called the doctor. -Do I need to remove  the bullet, and antiseptic dressing is something you would be good. Schterliz the beast was shot by three Russian prisoners, one of them survived. Bandage, antiseptic and something should be. Can you get anything? he asks. - I'll be right back. She says .


Isabella goes to the kitchen. She enters the chamber, pull off a bottle from the shelf, brandy in it. Transfuse  a small vial. Then go back to the room. Looking in the closet of a bedsheet, then walks over to the window. -I found these. says the issue of the window. -Very good. Thank you. says Stephen.


Stephen goes back to the tent .- They gave me. replied the man. The Doctor sniffed the bottle. Spirits and clean-sheet. Very good. Thank you. Now, let's get him the surgery. Removed from the ball, then plays a brandy and a piece of cloth pressed to the wound. I know it hurts, but I have to, my son's persistence. Perseverance. says the doc. -Will  he  survive? asks Stephen. -The night will be critical. says the doc.


Late at night is someone going to the tent. A dark-clad figure walks into the tent. Stephen and the doc is awake. The figure takes off the hood of her head. Isabella is. Pulling a bottle out of her pocket. Fold and place the doc. The doc takes. -Antibiotic. Thank you. says doc . the girl nods. And as she was quietly removed.

A of M 9.

Schterliz stop the shootings, and quickly put in order. First of all, shooting to death a poor Jewish boy. dark cell sends Joe. Neither eat nor drink for two days will be allowed. The rest of the prisoners to be shot elásnia. Isabella goes to her room.


 It is night. Someone in the penalty box towards the main building . In the opposite direction is just starting to someone. The figure climbs over a barbed wire fence. And then knelt down at the space that Joe where they are holding. Stretches of the bottom boards, pulling down a package in his coat. Twine and unload  to Joe. Back to the boards and without a sound start. Someone runs into the corner. For a moment both of us scared.

Where'd you get apples? asks Joe. Isabella  sent. Says Stephen


-Thank you for thinking about me. says Joe, do you think? Plural? asks Stephen. -Of course, you and Isabella. Thank you, ma'am. says Joe. -How do you know she's here? asks Stephen. -I feel the smell of perfume. says Joe. -No, what if you do not leave we will have food. replied the girl. -Do you really speak English? asks Joe. -Yes, but not a word about it to anyone. she says. A of M 8.

The next morning she is back on the patio reading. The two guards walking close to her. Stephen plant flowers today. Try to go closer to the girl. Digs small holes, then sprinkle seeds into. -Hi. Stephen said to the girl. The girl looks up from the book. -Are you sure you can be very lonely. Alone in such a depressing place. says Stephen. She listens with interest Stephen.


-My name is Stephen. And yours? asks the man. She just does not respond kindly smile .- 'Ah, certainly , you don't understand the words,  you're German. according to a man. The girl did not respond just looking for something in the book. Takes out a sheet of paper. Then draw a little pencil in her pocket. Something to write on the paper. Then, when the two guards did not pay attention to the cards on the table annihilated. The paper is straight from Stephen's legs before landing.

Stephen suspect that trouble can start immediately to the girl. Meanwhile, many prisoners come out of the tent, including Joe. -Immediately, stop it! she says. But the guards did not even hear it. -Do not worry, there will be no trouble, just a little fun with it. answered one of the guards. -I said enough! she says loudly. The guards you are not hitting on him.


Joe walks over to the boy to help you get up off the ground. one of the guards to cut the neck of the gun  Joe who falls to the ground. The prisoners do not leave as much of the attacking guards. Isabella is the main building next to a small terrace with a book and a cup of tea sitting . Joe and Stephen arrive, whit  broom, hoe. A small kitchen garden, make order. She looks at them for a moment, then re-read the book more . Two guards are not far from the girl the boys are watching every move. The guards watching the girl.

Isabella is in front of the window in her room. Within the fence, a lot of sick people are tortured. Isabella regret watching them. Someone knocks, then enters Captain Müller. - I'm sorry to bother you ma'am, I made some snacks, I thought of the hungry on long journeys,  come with me to the dining room? Asks Müller


-I go with you, thank you. replied the girl. The dining room set table for the guests. The prisoners do not have such luck. Get some bread and  vegetable dish. During dinner, the new guys get to know Tony Kassai, the Hungarian-born English boy. He is a prisoner but as he speaks 6 languages, the interpreter in the camp. Angel of Mercy.

This is a World War II story is the good friends written two American soldiers. Known each other since childhood. Went to school together, came together in the army, together with the pilots were. When America entered the war, they felt compelled to go to battle for their country. Thus becoming an Air Force Base in England. This is the story of Joe Williams and Stephen Brody history.


This mission can be started the night as the others. Stephen and Joe have checked the airplane and then had the mission plan. Started their journey in the night reconnaissance. German arms, chemical plants and military troops in the detection task. The aircraft is armed. Fly reconnaissance of the U.S. airspace, Germany. The sky was clear, not a single cloud in the sky.
